Matthijs and Alessio have been close friends and dedicated vegans for over seven years. Frustrated by the widespread mistreatment of animals and the indifference of those around us, we decided it was time to act. Initially, we got involved with online communities and activist groups to amplify our voices. However, balancing our day-to-day lives—working in an office and running a family-owned bag shop while staying true to our values was still a challenge.

That's why we started Worn Out Vegan, driven by our shared passion for animal rights and welfare. We are committed to donating at least 10% of all profits to animal sanctuaries, knowing that even a small number of animals can find a safe haven. This mission keeps us inspired to grow our brand and continue advocating for a kinder world.
